What Cost? Our events cost you nothing...*
Our events do not cost you anything due of several factors - the most important one being that allowing us to do the event at your centre benefits Hearing Dogs for Deaf People in many ways such as;
While Hearing Dogs have been around since 1982, it is surprisingly little-known and the fact that they receive no government help financially or otherwise, means that they are dependent on individuals and organisations to keep the funds coming, and the exposure from hosting an event in your centre plays a very large part in raising the profile as well as funds.
Our events run for three days, usually from Thursdays to Saturdays inclusive, or Fridays to Sundays inclusive as this is the most cost efficient way.
100% of funds raised during the weekend are deposited into a Hearing Dogs for Deaf People account, and the amount raised recorded on this website within 48 hours of the end of the event.
For events lasting less than three days and/or is to be held at centres with less than 125,000 footfall per week, a donation of at least £500 per day to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People would be required.
*providing your centre has a weekly footfall of at least 125,000. For centres with less than 125,000, please let us know.
