Carl Morris was nominated for the BBC’s "Charity Champion or Volunteer of the Year" in recognition for the work and commitment Carl undertook to raise funds for the National Deaf Children’s Society.
Carl succeeded in attempting to become the first deaf person to walk to the North Pole on foot and in the process, raised over £27,000 for the NDCS.
